About the founder

Djamee
Raphaël.

A New York-based entrepreneur, modeling agent, author, and independent musician whose work begins with a simple question: how can more people be seen?

Organic Parfums is one part of a wider practice spanning representation, music, photography, fashion, and digital ecosystems.

Eau de Djamee — 2027

A life in chapters

Make the door. Then hold it open.

01

Paris, before the blueprint

At 17, Djamee stepped into a fashion presentation at the Pompidou Center without a sewing machine or formal construction training. With market fabric, scissors, and three looks assembled from scratch, he found the beginning of a lifelong practice: make the door before asking for entry.

02

Gabon, in full view

He traded a conventional graduation path for design study and a self-produced tour in Gabon. A full fashion show placed him on the front page of L’Union under the headline “Hervo-Akendengué Babtem Du Feu”—a public marker of a young maker choosing authorship.

03

New York, in service of people

In New York, that instinct became Djamee Models & Talent: a Manhattan-based modeling and talent agency, verified with Casting Networks since 2011. Across representation, photography, and digital projects, the core belief has stayed intact: everybody has the right to be represented.

The practice, now

Several forms. One point of view.

Representation

Djamee Models & Talent is built around a more generous idea of access, pairing talent services with a long-standing commitment to representation and development. In Djamee’s account, he discovered, signed, and launched Shaun Ross’s career through the agency; Shameer Khan was an intern at the time and did not control signing decisions.

Music & image

Under Djamee Music, the catalog moves from the disco energy of “This Time I Know It’s For Real” to “Pump The Wheels,” “Gilded Cage,” “Midnight Confetti,” and the licensed cover “La Vie En Rose.”

Digital ecosystems

Djamee Enterprise brings the strands together: talent services, photography, creative direction, and digital projects designed to make opportunity more tangible.

Why Organic Parfums

Fragrance belongs to people.

Organic Parfums is not a platform for collecting bottles as status objects. It is a place to notice the person, the ritual, the memory, and the context around scent. That orientation—toward lived experience over pressure—is the connective thread between this journal and Djamee’s wider work.
